Contextual crime reporting is of great interest to justice system representatives and the media. The program interviewed Deb Wenger, Associate Professor, the Meek School of Journalism and New Media at the University of Mississippi and Ted Gest, President of Criminal Justice Journalists and Washington Bureau Chief of The Crime Report.Org.
Both addressed a new report titled, “The Crime Beat: Does Quantity Matter?” from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which was co-authored by Wenger and Dr. Rocky Dailey of South Dakota State University.
