The show interviews William (Bill) Burrell. For 19 years, Bill served as Chief of Adult Probation Services for the New Jersey Court System. Bill was a member of the faculty at the Department of Criminal Justice at Temple University. He is the Editor for Perspectives, the journal of the American Probation and Parole Association where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Bill also serves as a member of the editorial board of Community Corrections Report

The show interviews Neil Goodloe, former Chief Probation Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Neil provides an account of his effort to introduce evidence based practices into his district when he became Chief Probation Officer. Neil is retired and now works as a trainer and consultant for the North Pointe Institute for Public Management.

90 Percent of Offenders Employed Upon Release-DC Public Safety

The show interviews Stefan LoBuglio, Chief of the Prerelease and Reentry Services Division for the Montgomery County Department of Corrections in Maryland and Anne Morrison Piehl, a Professor at Rutgers University who, in conjunction with the Manhattan Institute, published “Preparing Prisoners for Employment-the Power of Small Rewards.” The research indicates that 90 percent of offenders leaving the Montgomery County system were employed upon release.
