The show features an interview with an anonymous 19- year-old offender, former offender Eddie Ellis (who is mentoring the 19 year old ) and Community Supervision Officer Lavonia Douglas who is supervising the offender.

The interview focuses on the experiences of the three participants regarding young adults involved in crime and the criminal justice system and what can be done to reduce their involvement.

The 19-year-old provides powerful testimony about his life and what happened to change is life for the better.

Capturing a Child Sex Offender/Halloween Sex Offender Follow-up

The program features an interview with Matthew Kiely, Supervisory Community Supervision Officer with the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency’s sex offender unit. Matt discusses the conviction of a child sex offender who was found to possess thousands of photographs of children (many under the age of 12) engaged in acts of violence.

Matt also provided an update to a previous CSOSA radio program on supervising sex offenders on Halloween, including an arrest by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The program features an interview with Deputy Secretary Paul Cook of the New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Capt. Gregory Toya of the Department of Public Safety/New Mexico State Police regarding a successful Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) program that reduced alcohol related deaths and accidents from third in the country to 17th. in the country. The effort involved the cooperation of correctional authorities.
