Although domestic violence is a terrible and dangerous crime (regardless of which gender is the agressor and which is the victim), allegations of DV are very often a tool used against someone to attack them through the legal system.
Regardless of which court has jurisdiction, it is imperative to be certain that someone accused of this type of crime is treated fairly and without bias during any investigation and court proceedings.
