As a doctor being educated in crimes and victims of crimes it is important to remember there are crime victim assistance programs throughout the United States. Finding the most appropriate program may involve calling several different numbers and/or visting multiple websites, but you will find help.

We need more programs like this, for the purpose to create awareness in our communities. People sometimes don’t want to learn about our justice system, therefore they ignore a lot of information about it and how it is of benefit to our society.
